The admission to the programs is done through a selection procedure comprising of a written test followed by group discussion and personal interview. Candidates who have taken any of the following tests - CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, or the SARM Entrance Test - can share their scores and proceed directly to the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD-PI) round.
Bachelor’s Degree in agriculture and allied sciences, including forestry, biotech, botany, biology, from a recognized University. Students who have achieved at least 55% marks or an OGPA above 6.5 in their graduation are directly eligible for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD-PI) round.

SARM has made arrangements and facilitates for lodging, boarding and transports facilities to 100% students at actual costs direct to the services providers. However, students are free to opt out and make their own arrangements.

SARM is affiliated with an approved university that qualifies for bank education loan. The school facilitates in all possible ways to help access education loan from the banks. However it is the entire responsibility of individual students to arrange through nearest bank located in the vicinity of permanent home address.
SARM provides scholarship to deserving students based on merit cum means. 10% of the total strength of students will be qualified to avail the facility, which is 50% off on the academic fee.
The social sector scholarships for students belonging to weaker sections, SC/ST, OBC, and minority communities can be accessed from the State Governments as per the norms. Students who are not availing of government scholarships can apply for scholarships from SARM.
